Main House Arbor
The Arbor drug and alcohol treatment program is designed as a 15-month program of support and comprised of two core phases: a 90-day residential treatment program and a 12-month aftercare support program. We are licensed by the State of Texas and, unlike many other drug rehab programs, The Arbor provides detox, medical, clinical, wellness, fitness, and family services ON SITE. Our services are available to those in Houston, Austin, Dallas and San Antonio TX. We do not shuttle you to the gym everyday, the fitness center is on site; we do not send you to the therapist’s office, your own licensed counselor is on site; you arrive, you can settle in, get the medical assessments and detox services you need and then begin to heal and engage in the program and activities.
Our clients attend several off-site 12-step meetings per week in the Austin community and have significant opportunities for therapeutic and recreational events and outings in the Hill Country of Central Texas.
The alcohol and drug treatment program developed at The Arbor integrates services and experiences that actually work. Our medical doctors, psychiatrist, clinicians, nurses, and staff have designed a substance use disorder program that takes you into account; not just your current behaviors. What that means is that you show up and we provide you with all the appropriate tools and professionals needed to assist you from a full spectrum of disciplines. Assessments -medical and mental health- are standard. A treatment plan- that you and your loved ones are part of creating- is standard.

90-Day Residential Program
Our residential program is a 90-day experience. This means that no educational seminars, workshops, or group therapy experiences repeat each 30-days as they do at other treatment programs. The curriculum and client experience is designed for a 90-day sequential event. We do not admit clients who are not, however reluctant, willing to stay for 90-days. The reason for this is simple: outcomes for clients are significantly better if they stay in residential treatment for 90-days, compared to 28 or 30-days. In fact, experts agree that 28 or 30-day residential programs are just as effective as going to outpatient treatment and 12-step meetings for a month. The Arbor was created to help you and your loved ones. We are not in business to collect fees, be a cheerleader, give you some information and brief experiences, and hope for the best after 30 days. Our minimum length of stay is 90-days. We are committed to your future and success. We want you and your loved ones to look back at this painful time in your life, not experience it again.
12-Month Aftercare Support Program
We want to ensure that each man or woman, who decides to let us help them, gets the best and most appropriate treatment that ensures the optimal future outcome. We designed our 12-month aftercare services program with this in mind. This aftercare support program provides support once clients complete residential treatment and consists of alumni activities, random drug testing (monitoring program), and support as needed from clinicians. It is included in the price of treatment because we want you or your loved one to thrive and have this be the place they turned their life around, not one of many along the future path.
